The Journey
The sleeper car traveling from Prague to Zurich is connected to the EuroCity "Southern Express" to Linz. This train includes a dining car, so passengers can order food for the journey. In Linz, the sleeping car joins the Euronight from Vienna and departs for Switzerland one minute before 1 AM. The car is comfortable, and passengers can use this convenient and fast route to get to Zurich and start their adventure in this beautiful city.

What is the train journey like?
The connection via Austria offers only a sleeper car. The WLABmz826 sleeper car is usually used - an air-conditioned sleeper car with Economy and Deluxe compartments (compartment with separate shower and toilet). There is a toilet and shower on the corridor. If you buy a bed in the DELUXE compartment, you have a toilet and shower directly in the compartment. Passengers can purchase refreshments and drinks from the conductor.
The beds have a pillow and duvet with linen. The compartments are three-seater (triple), it is possible to adjust them as double (double), or single (single). All compartments have a washbasin with hot and cold water.
There is a socket in the compartment and WiFi with connection throughout the journey. Transportation of bicycles or dogs is not possible.
How much do tickets cost and where to buy them?
Tickets can be obtained not only at ticket offices and on the e-shop of Swiss Railways, but also on the eShop of Czech Railways. Ticket sales start 180 days before the departure date, which gives you plenty of time to plan your trip. However, prices are limited by the number of tickets for each price category, which means that the sooner you buy your ticket, the greater your chance of a lower price.
