a month agoThe main railway station in Prague is one of the most important Art Nouveau monuments in the Czech Republic, it is a national cultural monument. The café was originally a departure hall, later it served as a place to sit while waiting for the train.

3 years agoThe narrative building of the architect Josef Fanta is part of the Main Railway Station in Prague and together with the adjacent hall above the platform it forms the largest Art Nouveau monument in the Czech Republic. In 1976, the main railway station was registered as an immovable cultural monument and since November 1, 1993 it has been a part of the Vinohrady, Žižkov and Vršovice monument zones. The historic departure hall and the main entrance to the building currently serve passengers who change to long-distance buses or the Airport Express line.

2 years agoI was fine here. The throughput per hour is about 400 people. There are also a few vykuku, trying to earn a few crowns to help tourists. They also like to take pictures of models before dubious travels abroad.
